The holidays are over and the new year is upon us. I'm going to be taking a few days away from the shop next week and will be closed Monday - Thursday Dec. 30th - Jan 2nd.

I wish you all a great rest of 2019. Thank you all so much for making this holiday season wonderful. You all know how to make a gal feel blessed!

New paintings have arrived from local artist Alex Sowinski! All of his paintings have been done using acrylics on canvas.

Having had grown up in the Door Peninsula, it's easy to note the influence of music and nature in his work.

These and more will be on display this Friday. See you then (if not sooner).

We have a new painter here at The Gift Itself. Shelly Smith is an old friend and creative as ever. She recently came upon a great collection of vintage wall paper and began incorporating it into her paintings. Amazing how much texture she is able to achieve in her work!

Next Friday the 22nd from 5-8 pm, The Gift Itself will be hosting is annual party! Stop down and enjoy a few snacks, some refreshments and maybe a little shopping as well. This event coincides with the annual Lighting Ceremony on Broadway, the kick off to the holiday season!

Come on down!

We have a new ceramic artist on display! Her name is Karen Kjell Krebsky and she's from right here in Green Bay. Doesn't get much more local than that. She just dropped off a few new pieces for us, adding to her collection. Just love her work. Such nice color combinations. I think my favorite is that her platters can also be hung on the wall for a beautiful wall sculpture. Stop in and check out all her new work as well as the other 35 artists we have on display here at the shop!

Ceramic platters, lidded mugs, vases and tea pots!

Leaf platters can be hung on the wall! How cool, functional and sculptural all in one!
